This fall Hamilton Public Library offers Memory Cafes at five locations: Sherwood, Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek and Hamilton Central.

A Memory Cafe is a welcoming place for people with forgetfulness, or other changes in their thinking, as well as their family and friends. Enjoy conversations over refreshments and the occasional musical performance, story, or guest speaker.

The main goal of a Memory Cafe is to help guests feel comfortable and know they are not alone.

This program is open to all adults interested in having a relaxing, social experience. (A diagnosis of dementia is not required.) For more information please contact the branch.
