DESCRIPTION:Fall 2019 Learning Series \nDeath Cafes are part of a global movement\, “To increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of our finite lives.” \nAt a Death Café\, people\, often strangers\, gather to drink tea\, eat cake and discuss death. The\nobjective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their\n(finite) lives’. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda\, objectives or\nthemes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session. \nThe evening ends with a guided meditation by yoga instructor Dina Pereira\nof Breathing Space Yoga. \nFacilitated by Pastor Loretta Jaunzarins. \n  \nLight Refreshments will be served. \n  \n
