SUMMARY:Cohousing 101 – Introductory Webinar
DESCRIPTION:When: Saturday\, December 5\, 10:30am – 12:30pm \nJoin us for an introduction to cohousing and learn how it addresses social isolation\, affordability issues\, sustainability\, co-care and more. We will also be presenting the cohousing community that is forming in Hamilton and discussing what intergenerational cohousing looks like. \nCohousing allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds\, where you can choose the balance between privacy and community that’s right for you. Enjoy new friends\, new skills and improved health in a setting that combines a sense of connection\, cooperation\nand mutual support. The modern version of cohousing was formed in Denmark in the mid-1960s. Since then it has been transformed into a worldwide phenomenon. \nThis webinar is repeated a few times a year.
