| FreeWhat does aging mean to you? What is it like to be a senior in Hamilton?
These are some of the questions we have been trying to answer.
What is Seniors of Canada?
The Seniors of Canada: Hamilton project aims to photograph and portray seniors “as they are” to combat ageism, and overcome common age stereotypes through social media. We are inviting seniors to engage in intergenerational picture and story sharing in Hamilton
Join us on Friday, April 13th during April Art Crawl for a photo exhibit showcasing some of the incredible seniors that live in the Hamilton area. We will be displaying photographs and stories that we have captured over the past several months, and we are inviting you to come and see!
Our photo exhibit will take place at Rust City Brewery in the heart of Hamilton, ON. Admission is completely FREE and all members of the public are welcome. Feel free to pop in at any time between 5:00pm and 7:00pm to chat with the Seniors of Canada team. Light refreshments will be provided, and additional snacks & beverages can be purchased from the menu at Rust City Brewery.
